Nanjing Communications Institute of Technology

Nanjing Communications Institute of Technology, located in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, is a public full-time higher education institution affiliated to the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Transportation. The college was founded in 1953 and was independently upgraded to a higher vocational college in 2001. The college is a national pilot university for cultivating construction-type skilled talents in short supply, a demonstration base for cultivating high-skilled talents in Jiangsu Province, the chairman unit of Jiangsu Transportation Vocational Education Group, and a pilot institution for the construction of the Jiangsu Province Higher Education Comprehensive Reform Pilot Zone. As of October 30, 2021, the college covers an area of 921 acres, with a construction area of 369,000 square meters, a total asset value of nearly 1.1 billion yuan, and a total value of teaching instruments and equipment of 180 million yuan; it has 10 teaching units; there are 616 faculty and staff , with more than 12,600 full-time students.
