Xijing University

Xijing University, located in Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province, is a private full-time general institution of higher learning approved by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. Honorary titles such as Typical Experience University and Employability Training Base for College Graduates of the Ministry of Education. The college was founded in 1994, then named Xijing University, as a full-time higher vocational (junior college) institution. In June 2001, it was renamed Xijing Vocational College. In March 2005, it was upgraded to an undergraduate university with the approval of the Ministry of Education, and the school name was changed to Xijing College. In 2010, the school obtained master's degree authorization to carry out postgraduate education. As of November 2022, the school covers an area of nearly 1,858 acres, with a construction area of 760,000 square meters, and a library collection of 1.88 million volumes; it has 10 undergraduate colleges, 5 professional master's programs, and 36 undergraduate enrollment majors; 1,040 full-time teachers There are 285 people with doctoral degrees, 678 with master's degrees, and 18,436 full-time students, including 66 ordinary vocational (including higher vocational) students, 771 master's students, and 17,599 ordinary undergraduates.
