Communication University of Zhejiang

Zhejiang Communication University (Communication University of Zhejiang), referred to as "Zhejiang", is a university jointly established by the State Administration of Radio and Television and the Zhejiang Provincial People's Government. Universities with typical employment experiences, party member education demonstration training bases, and pilot demonstration schools for application-oriented construction in Zhejiang Province. The college was established in 2000 by the merger of Zhejiang Radio and Television School (founded in 1978) and Zhejiang Radio and Television College (founded in 1984). In 2004, the college officially changed its name to Zhejiang Media College. In 2010, the People's Government of Zhejiang Province and the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television signed an agreement to jointly build Zhejiang Media College. In October 2011, it was granted the right to confer professional master's degrees with the approval of the Ministry of Education. In 2021, it will be successfully approved as a master's degree granting unit and 3 master's degree granting points. As of March 2023, the school has two campuses, Qiantang, Hangzhou and Wuzhen, Tongxiang, covering an area of 1355.14 acres, with a total construction area of 642,000 square meters; the total value of teaching equipment is about 377 million yuan; the total amount of printed books in the library is 1.834 million 1.733 million volumes of electronic books, 1.36 million volumes of electronic periodicals, 9.59 million volumes of dissertations, 103,000 hours of audio and video; 16 secondary colleges (departments, centers), 35 undergraduate majors; 3 professional master's degrees Authorized points: more than 13,700 undergraduate students, 740 graduate students, more than 200 international students, and about 1,400 faculty members
