Zhejiang Communication University (Communication University of Zhejiang), referred to as "Zhejiang", is a university jointly established by the State Administration of Radio and Television and the Zhejiang Provincial People's Government. Universities with typical employment experiences, party member education demonstration training bases, and pilot demonstration schools for application-oriented construction in Zhejiang Province. The college was established in 2000 by the merger of Zhejiang Radio and Television School (founded in 1978) and Zhejiang Radio and Television College (founded in 1984). In 2004, the college officially changed its name to Zhejiang Media College. In 2010, the People's Government of Zhejiang Province and the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television signed an agreement to jointly build Zhejiang Media College. In October 2011, it was granted the right to confer professional master's degrees with the approval of the Ministry of Education. In 2021, it will be successfully approved as a master's degree granting unit and 3 master's degree granting points.
